Family Enhancement Program

Black Family and Child Services is committed to partnering with the family, Comprehensive Service Providers, other system stakeholders and the community to provide quality support services in the most family-centered and least restrictive manner possible to help families stay together and become fully functioning.

The Family Enrichment Program is a continuum of direct services to help families meet their goals and cope with the problems of everyday living. Our staff provides services in the home, in the community, in the school or wherever it is most convenient for the family.

In order to qualify for the Family Enhancement Program, the child must be enrolled in the ValueOptions behavioral health system.

The following services are included and provided by a culturally diverse, highly qualified staff:

• Living Skills/Social Skills
• Family Support Training
• In-Home Family Counseling
• Crisis Support
• Job Development and Placement
• Assistance in Connecting with Community Resources
• Case Management
